DAY 1: MARRAKECH - AIT BENHA HADDOU - OUARZAZATE - SKOURA - DADES GORGES

The Tizi n'Tichka pass is the route we go when we pick you up from your accommodation (at 2260 m). A guided tour takes us to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a World Heritage Site located on the other side of the High Atlas Mountains. We next drive through the road of a thousand Kasbah to the stunning Oasis of Skoura, and spend the evening in a local riad. We spend the night in Dades Valley and travel to the nearby Valley of the Roses for lunch and dinner.

DAY 2: DADES VALLEY - TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA (CAMEL RIDE AND NIGHT IN DESERT CAMP)

The next morning, we set off for Erfoud, the fossil-hunting epicenter, through the Todra Gorges. Later, we reach Merzouga and venture out onto the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. In the Erg Chebbi Dunes, we'll have a camel ride till the sunset, and then we'll head to our tent for the night. We'll be spending the night at the Sahara Desert tent after dinner.

DAY 3:  MERZOUGA - ZIZ VALLEY - MIDELT - CEDAR FOREST - IFRANE - FES

We get up before dawn in the Sahara to catch the sunrise from atop the dune. It's a camel ride into town for breakfast, then it's off to Rissani and on to Errachidia. From here, we'll be driven to Fes via the Cedar groves in the vicinity of Azrou before crossing the TiziN'talghamt pass. Arrival at your Fes hotel, marking the end of our three-day desert excursion from Marrakech.
